Oil Pump Filter: Protect Pump and Burner

The fuel pump filter is placed on the power line, upstream of the burner. It retains particles and deposits in the fuel (usually with filtration thresholds of 50 to 100 μm), stabilizes the pressure and avoids premature contamination of the pump and nozzle. Essential to preserve the efficiency of the boiler, it completes the action of the internal fuel pump sieve.

When to replace the filter?

Difficult start-ups, low pressure, recurrent debooting or a cracked bowl indicate a saturated filter. Replacement of the cartridge is recommended during annual heating maintenance, and more frequently in case of impure fuel oil or prolonged inactivity. A clean filter limits overconsumption and promotes stable combustion.

Which filter to choose?

Depending on your installation, opt for a filter holder with transparent bowl (fast visual control), a cartridge felt or synthetic suitable for the desired fineness of filtration, and, if necessary, useful functions (purging, non-return valve). Ensure hydraulic compatibility (flow, viscosity) and connections (3/8'', 1/2''). Our line filters are suitable for installations equipped with pumps Suntec and Danfoss, and integrate with most domestic burners.
