The VIRAX 221276 calibrator performs two operations required to prepare multilayer pipe before press fitting: recalibrating the pipe after cutting and internally deburring it.
Calibration and internal deburring
Recalibration restores the shape of the pipe after cutting. Internal deburring helps prevent damage to the fitting's O-ring when the fitting is inserted.
A single calibrator covers 5 multilayer pipe sizes, allowing work with several commonly used dimensions.
